If they don’t have an obvious next step after reading your post, they’re not likely to convert or do anything else on your site.

Set clear expectations for what should happen next after someone reads your content. Sometimes those expectations are implied, sometimes you must ask for something explicitly. The most successful posts are always based around something actionable–often in the form of a checklist, worksheet, or guide–to help readers get started right away with whatever it is they’ve been waiting to learn how to do better. People want solutions; give them solutions immediately! Don’t just think about what you might teach them; start teaching them immediately!
